The project also includes an expressway connecting Filiasi with Targu Jiu (DEx2).

II.Craiova - Targu Jiu
This section follows the route Craiova - Filiasi (motorway) and Filiasi - Targu Jiu (expressway)

- Section 1, DEx12/Ghercesti - Craiova Nord, 10.30km (motorway). Tender launched in August 2024
- Section 2, Craiova Nord - Beharca, 14.40km (motorway). Tender launched in August 2024
- Section 3, Beharca - Filiasi, 21,70km (motorway). Tender launched in August 2024
- Section 4, Filiasi - Bibesti, 22.92km (out of which 5.1km of motorway and 17.82km of expressway). Tender launched in August 2024
- Section 5, Bibesti - Targu Carbunesti, 21.52km (expressway). Tender launched in October 2024
- Section 6, Targu Carbunesti - Targu Jiu ringroad, 19.25km (expressway). Tender launched in September 2024.
